Work Order Templates

Adding and Managing Work Order Templates

  1. In the main menu, click on Templates.
  2. A list of all created templates will be displayed.
  3. To create a new template, click the New button.
  4. Enter the details of the new work order template in the respective fields.
  5. Click Save.

Filtering and Searching Work Order Templates

  • Choose one of the offered filters: Type, Category, Location, Employees, Suppliers, or Status. Each option will open a dropdown menu.
  • To search for a template, enter letters into the search field.
  • To filter the list of templates, click on Columns. Choose the filter you want to apply.

Assigning Work Orders to Technicians

  1. Click on the code of the work order template to open the profile.
  2. Find the Executors section.
  3. Click on + in the header of the Executors section and select one of the offered executors.
  4. Click Save.

Assigning Work Orders to Suppliers

  1. Click on the code of the work order template to open the profile.
  2. Find the Executors section.
  3. Click on the + button in the header of the Executors section and select one of the offered suppliers as the executor.
  4. Click Save.

NOTE: After these steps, the supplier will receive a special link via email that allows access to the work order without the need to log in to the Metrikon system. The supplier will have access only to the assigned work order, and other functionalities of the Metrikon system will be beyond their reach.

Adding Tasks and Checklists to Work Order Templates

  1. Click on the code of the work order template to open the profile.
  2. On the template profile, find the Tasks section and click the + button in the header.
  3. Enter the details of the new task in the respective fields and click Save.
  4. If adding a checklist, click on the Add Checklist button next to the + button, enter the checklist item name from the dropdown, and click Save.

Adding Materials to Work Orders

  1. Click on the code of the work order template to open the profile.
  2. Find the Materials section.
  3. Click on the file upload button in the header of the Materials section.
  4. Choose the file you want to upload and click Open.

Using Triggers with Work Order Templates

  1. Click on the code of the work order template to open the profile.
  2. Find the Trigger section.
  3. In the Trigger section, find the trigger status field and select a status from the dropdown (e.g., Active or Inactive).
  4. Then, choose the time unit for the trigger from the corresponding dropdown (e.g., Hour, Day, etc.).
  5. Enter the interval for creating orders in the appropriate field.
  6. Click on the date selection field for the next work order creation.
  7. Finally, to trigger the trigger, click on the Now button in the top right corner.

NOTE: After successfully configuring the trigger, the work order template will automatically create new work orders according to the set conditions. This allows you to automate the process of sending work orders, saving time and effort that you would otherwise spend on manual order submission.
